The Salt Covenant
Published in Paperback by Impact Christian Books, Inc. (March, 2000)
Average review score:

Has your salt lost its savour? This is Trumbull's third and final installment in a series of books dealing with the topic of blood covenanting ("The Blood Covenant" and "The Threshold Covenant" being the former). The use of salt, as this book elaborates upon, is just an extension of that rite in which salt is seen as the nexus of a covenant instead of blood. For as a body without blood will soon die, so will a body without salt. Hence, salt and blood are both counted as sacred and necessary for life.
Historical record, personal observations, and applied scholarship once again are entwined in this work. And so it is with great confidence that I recommend this book as a means of bringing into full circle the understanding surrounding the truths of the blood covenant.

Sand (Diagnostic Book)
Published in Paperback by Heinemann (January, 1985)
Average review score:

Fast-track diagnosis of Reading ReadinessThis book is designed for use with an observation survey determining a child's reading readiness and his/her concepts about print. Some pages have the words in strange order, some pages are upside-down, and so on, although superficially it looks like a "normal" book. It is illustrated and has big type, the illustrations facing the type pages. In line with the California Reading Initiative and the assembly bills requiring informed diagnosis of children's reading readiness and progress, and multiple assessments thereof, this is a valuable diagnostic tool for children entering school, to be used with the test script on page 47-48 of Marie Clay's An Observation Survey of Early Literacy Achievement.

Nicely done! A solid work of fiction.Good stuff- nice sci/fi, good plot, and great man-sex. Nice to see a solid idea, with good 'atmosphere' and imagined characters, and of course, solid, hot mansex.
A sequel would be nice....

Sexy New York City 2002

The Original is Still The BestI've been buying this book for years and it is still the best guide to all the strip clubs and porn shops in New York. I like that they cover the whole city, not just Manhattan like most guides.

Stamping with Style: Sensational Ways to Decorate Paper, Fabric, Polymer Clay & More
Published in Hardcover by Sterling Publishing (December, 2001)
Average review score:

More for the Artsy Stamper...This is a wonderful resource, but frankly, for the more "artsy" stamper. I love the projects, techniques, and looks shown here, but if you're looking for clean and simple, this is not it. Not that the techniques are difficult -- they aren't -- it's just that the looks are very elegant. The book shows stamping on everything -- clothes, paper, clay, umbrellas, and more. You can transfer the techniques from these to other media if you know what you are doing and aren't afraid to try something new. Everything from funky to renaissance...Nice stuff, I like it, maybe you will, too.

Stress Management for Law Enforcement Officers
Published in Paperback by Prentice Hall (19 October, 1994)
Average review score:

A must read for officersPolice officers need to read this book and to be aware of all stressors on the job. Police stress is a killer. The more the officer knows the better the chances of dealing with stress effectively. I recommend it.

Additionally, serious Twain fans (Twainiacs) should find the book interesting, as countless references to Twain's life and times, as well as allusions (in addition to numerous direct quotations) to his writings are made throughout.
